Music History Fact Of The Week
Opera singer, Jessye Norman , won a full scholarship to Howard University. In 1969, she won the ARD International Music Competition. She has won many awards throughout her illustrious career. The dramatic soprano has won many grammy awards, and has been awarded a few honorary doctorate degrees as well.
